About time! I’ve been waiting on anything from Clint Eastwood’s baseball drama Trouble with the Curve for months, bright and early this morning, we get our first images!
Eastwood stars as “Gus, an aging Atlanta Braves scout with vision problems whose daughter, Mickey, played by Amy Adams, reluctantly agrees to be his eyes on a crucial recruiting trip.”
It’s been a long time since we got a great baseball movie, or any sports movie for that matter. Hit the jump to see pictures of Justin Timberlake, who also stars.
Timberlake stars as a young rival scout who respects Gus, and ultimately develops feelings for Mickey, of course he does. John Goodman plays the Braves’ clubhouse boss, and Matthew Lillard as a recruiter who “clashes with Gus over a green power hitter named Bo Gentry, played by Joe Massingill. The film revolves around this prospect, and the work that’ll come with trying to sign him.
I’m looking forward to the trailer, which should be coming out any day now.
UPDATE: Trouble with the Curve hits theaters a week earlier now on September 21st, 2012.

Very Brave of them… Go Braves
“It’s been a long time since we’ve seen a great baseball move”…you missed MONEYBALL…?
You’re correct, no Idea why that slipped my mind. But aside from that it’s been ages – last one before Moneyball is probably The Rookie or For The Love of The Game. You get what I was trying to say.
I absolutely love this idea and cant wait to see it. GO Braves.
