Since the sequel to Kick-Ass is finally coming to fruition, now it’s all about adding to the fun.
Aaron Johnson, Chloe Moretz, Christopher Mintz-Plasse are all returning, with newcomer John Leguizamo also boarding the film.
Now reports are surfacing that funny-man Jim Carrey is circling a role.

Deadline is reporting that Universal wants to add Carrey to the film, bad.
He’ll be playing Colonel Stars.
Stars is a founding member of Justice Forever, a group of crime-fighters for which he is in charge of recruitment. While no deal is in place as yet, it would be a nice change of pace for Carrey. He hasn’t done a big film in ages, and this could be just the role to get him back in fans’ good graces.
